NDIA will continue to extend complementary membership benefits to current federal government employees and members of the U.S. military (Active, Guard, and Reserve).

These complementary government memberships meet government ethical standards. (See note below)

For more than 100 years, warfighter support has stood at the heart of NDIA's mission. As a non-partisan and non-profit educational association, NDIA provides our military and government members opportunities to ethically engage with the defense industry and academic institutions at local and national levels.

Complementary government membership include a free subscription to NDIA's award-winning National Defense Magazine.

 

NDIA has confirmed with the DoD Standards of Conducts Office (SOCO) that complementary membership is acceptable. Per SOCO’s webpage section on Gifts “Opportunities and benefits, including favorable rates and commercial discounts, available to the public or to a class consisting of all Government employees or all uniformed military personnel are not "gifts."
