Robotics Division Meeting : Jam-Resistant Wireless Communication and Shared Secrets in Zero-Trust Peer-to-Peer Networks" (Communications in a Hostile E/W Environment)
LTC Joshua Groen is currently assigned to the United States Army Student Detachment where he is a Ph.D. candidate at Northeastern University. He is studying with Professor Kaushik Chowdhury and the Next Generation Networks Systems (GENESYS) Lab. His research interests include wireless communications, security, and machine learning.
Prior to joining Northeastern, LTC Groen worked in the US Army Regional Cyber Center – Korea in multiple roles, including the Senior Information Systems Engineer, Theater Operations Division Chief, and Senior Network Engineer. He has previously worked as an instructor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at West Point and as the Network Systems Engineer for the 50th Expeditionary Signal Battalion. LTC Groen received his MS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2017 and his BSE degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University in 2007.
