Overview

NDIA’s Human Systems Division is now accepting abstract submissions for technical presentations or posters at the 2025 NDIA Human Systems Conference, taking place March 11 & 12, 2025 at George Mason University – Mason Square in Arlington, VA.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Optimizing Total System Performance through Innovative Human Integration.”

Practitioners, program managers, and S&T leaders are invited to submit brief, high-impact abstracts of technical accomplishments and research-based recommendations relevant to the Human Systems COI topic focus areas. Upon abstract submission, you will be asked to select which of the below focus areas best aligns with your topic.

Abstract Requirements

Your abstract will be evaluated based on relevance to the conference theme. It should include the HSI research question(s) or challenge(s) being addressed and your methodology or technical approach. Highlight important research findings and/or innovative design features along with the practical application of your work to the DoD. Abstracts can be up to 5,000 characters in length. Abstracts must be unclassified and cleared for public release.

Poster submissions should outline details of the proposed poster or tabletop demonstration concerning ongoing or completed work.

Presentation submissions should focus on completed work that demonstrates high impact results for the community or discusses future efforts or anticipated new developments in Science and Technology to foster more dynamic and interactive discussions and help generate visionary ideas and concepts.

Demonstration submissions should be of interest to the Human Systems community and relevant to one of the four topic areas. The amount of space and furniture requirements for the demonstration should be included in the abstract.

NOTE: All abstracts will be considered as a potential presentation, unless the authors specify in their submission that they would like their abstract to ONLY be considered for a poster or demonstration.

The deadline for submissions has passed. Status notifications will be sent via email in January 2025.
