Security Clearance Information
This event is classified at the SECRET level. All attendees must hold a secret clearance or higher with the company or command that they are representing at NDIA and that will be sending the visitor request on their behalf.
Security clearances are being accepted starting August 1, 2024. The deadline to submit your paperwork for security clearance is Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
If you are not cleared, you will be not be able to take the shuttle bus to get on base. Please keep in mind, all attendees must carry a valid federal or state issued picture ID on their person at all times. Attendees may be asked to present their IDs during routine spot checks.
Attendees are required to submit a visitor request through DISS to SMO Code NDIA24.
All DoD-affiliated personnel, including contractors, should send visitor requests via DISS.
For non-DoD attendees or personnel with no DISS account access, please email attendee clearance information to gina.m.santos2.civ@us.navy.mil and deanna.l.monell.civ@us.navy.mil. Visitor request forms should clearly be labeled "NDIA 2024". Information sent must be on company letterhead. There is no "standard form" available for emailing requests. If you would like a DOD Safe code to send information encrypted please reach out via email to Gina Santos and Deanna Monell. Otherwise, please password protect the document and send in one email and send the password in a separate email.
Please note, the Fall 2024 NDIA Undersea Warfare Conference will include United Kingdom and Australian Naval Officers and Government civilian employees in attendance for the plenary speakers on day one and a selected track on day two. Foreign Visit Request – FVRs, must be submitted by the embassy to Dan Packer at daniel.l.packer.civ@us.navy.mil no later than August 28th.

Security POC for VRs
Visitor Requests should be submitted at the Secret level for the dates of September 16 - 18, 2024. You may use “Gina Santos” as the visit Government POC: Phone Number: 401-832-8684 & email: gina.m.santos2.civ@us.navy.mil. If you do not have access to DISS, contact Ms. Santos for assistance.
Please note: Submitting your clearance does not register you for the conference. You must both register and submit your clearance in order to attend.
NDIA will be receiving a weekly report of cleared attendees, every Friday, starting August 2nd. Please check status of clearance with Erin Peters at epeters@NDIA.org
