Michael currently serves as the Senior Director for Strategy & Policy at the National Defense Industrial Association. 

Previously, Michael served as the Director for Government Affairs and Public Policy at Twilio Inc. In this capacity, he was the principal director responsible for the formulation and execution of the company’s public policy positions and government affairs strategy for technology in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. 

Before his tenure in the private sector, Michael served as the Chief of Staff and lead policy advisor to the Honorable William M. Thornberry, the Chairman and Ranking Member of the House Committee on Armed Services. Michael also served on the staff for the Honorable Joe Barton and the Honorable Jeb Hensarling.

Michael holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.
