Emile Ettedgui is a Senior Analyst for the Science, Technology Assessments, and Analytics Team at the Government Accountability Office (GAO), where he examines cost, schedule, analysis of alternatives, and earned value management analyses to support audit findings on government programs. Emile is a certified cost estimator analyst. He has worked with Agile projects for the last 10 years. Last year, he led the finalization of GAO’s Agile Assessment Guide, which was published in November 2023.

Before joining GAO, Emile worked for the Air Force Cost Analysis Agency for two years, where he was responsible for cost estimates of software systems. He held various position in defense planning and technology assessment as well as cost estimating prior to then. Emile holds a BS in physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a PhD in physics from the University of Rochester.
