Brigid O’Hearn is a senior member of the technical staff in the Software Solution Division's Transforming Software Acquisition Practice & Policy directorate.  Her main area of work focuses on software modernization where she influences and reforms software acquisition, modernization, and sustainment policies and practices for the Department of Defense (DoD) and government agencies. She is a senior member of IEEE and serves on the Technical Review Board of CrossTalk, the Journal of Defense Software Engineering.
