Bio
Benjamin Schwartz is the Vice President of Human-Centered Engineering at Monterey Technologies, Inc. (MTI), a small business delivering user-centered engineering solutions for complex, mission-critical defense and federal government systems. He earned a bachelor’s degree in human factors from Tufts University and a master’s degree in human systems integration from the Naval Postgraduate School, and is an International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP). As an advocate for user-centered systems engineering, he ensures that human and mission needs are integrated in the systems engineering process and outcomes.
