Bio

Mr. Vincent Jakubowski is the Deputy Project Manager, Transportation Systems where he assists in the oversight and management over 200 personnel, 28 active acquisition programs and lines of effort, and an annual budget of over $700 million dollars. Mr. Jakubowski leads four program offices (Product Manager Heavy Tactical Vehicles, Product Lead Common Tactical Truck, Product Manager Army Watercraft Systems, and Product Manager Multi-Mission protected Vehicles) in developing and fielding a diverse portfolio including tactical vehicles, trailers and watercraft. He has over 18 years of acquisition experience as a civilian with the U.S. Army.

Prior to his current position, from 2021 to 2023 Mr. Jakubowski was the Deputy Product Manager (DPdM) for Heavy Tactical Vehicles (HTV). As DPdM HTV he assisted in the management of 14 active acquisition programs and a budget of over $400 million dollars.

From 2014-2021 Mr. Jakubowski served as the DPdM and as a Program Officer within PdM Petroleum and Water Systems. In those positions Mr. Jakubowski led a diverse team in support of the development, acquisition and fielding of 20 petroleum and water systems.

Between 2008 and 2014, Mr. Jakubowski served as an engineering branch chief and systems engineer in Product Manager Allied Tactical Vehicles and a systems engineer in both Product Manager Armored Security Vehicles, and Product Manager Light Tactical Vehicles (LTV).During these roles Mr. Jakubowski led the technical efforts of fielding systems in support of the mission in Afghanistan as well as development and test of various armor capabilities.

From 2005-2007 Mr. Jakubowski served as a quality engineer in PdM LTV and supported quality control and inspection efforts for armor upgrade kits in support of OEF and OIF.
Prior to joining the Government, Mr. Jakubowski worked as a contractor and quality engineer at 3M from 2003-2005 where he performed quality assurance activities for abrasives materials.

Mr. Jakubowski earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University in 2002 followed by a Master’s degree in Program Management from Naval Postgraduate School in 2012.

Mr. Jakubowski currently resides in Oakland Michigan with his wife and two daughters.
