Mr. Story has worked for the Department of Defense for over 39 years.  He is currently supporting the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on the PEO Land Systems staff. He was the CTO for PEO Land Systems for 7 years until his retirement in April 2023. Mr. Story started his career with the Army working on Countermine Systems and then managing Army Watercraft programs. In 1997, he started working on Amphibious Vehicles for the Marine Corps. Mr. Story also worked on Vehicle Survivability, Tactical Wheeled Vehicles, Combat Engineer Systems, Combat Vehicles and Integrated Air and Missile Defense for the Marine Corps. His primary role was to manage and support Science and Technology (S&T)/Research and Development (R&D) for Marine Corps Acquisition. Mr. Story was the Marine Corps Competency Lead for Science and Technology Management before his retirement last year.
