Troy is a member of Mosaic’s Operations team and is responsible to build and lead a team focused on identifying profitable opportunities to monetize ‘co-products’ (aka, waste and by-products) across Mosaic’s North American Phosphate and Potash production units. As part of this role Troy is the Mosaic representative on the Rare Earth Industry Association (REIA) and is a member of the Mosaic Intellectual Property Committee. Troy joined Mosaic in February of 2011.
Troy has more than 30 years of work experience covering a broad range of agriculture businesses and business development roles. His areas of focus have included business development, operations integration, project management and financial modeling.
During his career, Troy has worked for many leading agribusiness organizations, including: Monsanto, DuPont Pioneer, Koch Agriculture Company, the U.S. Grains Council and Cargill Animal Nutrition. He has extensive global agri-business experience conducting business in many countries throughout the world.
Troy holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics and an MBA from Utah State University. Prior to joining the corporate world, Troy ran his own farm operation in southeastern Idaho.Speakers
