Safety

2022 CBRN Defense Conference & Exhibition attendees who visit Baltimore for the event will have a great time as the city has become a major center for tourism and travel. When exploring the city, we remind attendees to be aware of their surroundings and stay in well-lit, populated areas. Like in other cities, the safety of Baltimore neighborhoods can change quickly from block to block or street to street. We encourage visiting attendees to use maps to determine locations and destinations before heading out of the hotel, even seeking a concierge if help is required to map out a route. Recommended tourist-friendly and well-patrolled spots include the Baltimore Inner Harbor, Little Italy, Fells Point, Federal Hill, and Mount Vernon.
