Bio
Marty Hunt is the Vice President of Hypersonics and Advanced Materials for Dynetics Technical Solutions. In this role, he oversees three high priority national security programs in addition to several advanced material programs that contribute to the advancement of materials technologies and program integrations.Hunt’s portfolio includes the Common Hypersonic Glide Body (C-HGB) prototype and Thermal Protection System (TPS) prime contracts, Dynetics’ contribution to the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon/Conventional Prompt Strike (LHRW/CPS) system, and the Multi-Service Advanced Capability Hypersonics Test Bed (MACH-TB) program which is used to advance the development and deployment of hypersonics weapon systems.
Hunt joined Dynetics in 2020 after a productive career serving in senior level management positions in Engineering, Operations, Trade Compliance, Procurement and Services. Prior to joining Dynetics, Hunt served as Vice President, Professional Services at ADTRAN, where he led operations, program management, engineering and field installation services for telecom technology products. Hunt was responsible for business growth and P&L for North America. Additionally, Hunt worked several mergers and acquisitions programs during his tenure at ADTRAN. Experience prior to ADTRAN includes working in production engineering, operations and plant management at Morton Thiokol solid rocket motor facilities. Hunt’s 30+ year career illustrates a track record of strategic knowledge and problem solving in global business processes, program management, corporate finance, government regulatory requirements, contracts, manufacturing, and design engineering. Hunt holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and has graduate studies in Electromagnetics, Optics, Controls, and Industrial engineering disciplines.
