Alex Major is a partner and co-leader of the firm’s nationally-recognized Government Contracts and Global Trade practice group. Alex’s practice focuses on federal procurement compliance counseling, cybersecurity liability and risk management, and litigation.  He counsels companies of all sizes and in all sectors on a host of regulatory requirements, including those found in the FAR and DFARS, as well as the NIST Special Publications, FedRAMP and in state data privacy requirements. 

A recognized thought leader, author, and instructor in the area of federal procurement cybersecurity, Alex also has the distinction of being a retired U.S. Air Force intelligence officer and a graduate of the National Security Agency’s Junior Officer Cryptologic Career Program.
