Bio
Evan Fortunato is currently the President & CEO of Apogee Research, a small company working on some of the hardest problems in the DoD.

Evan is a leader in the development of adaptive and resilient cyber-physical systems, combining techniques from a broad range of technical fields.  He led the creation of STITCHES (System-of-systems Technology Integration Tool Chain for Heterogeneous Electronic Systems) which is currently being used to efficiently create operational capabilities by integrating existing capabilities together without requiring them to have a common design or even a common interface.

Prior to Apogee Research, Evan was a program manager at DARPA, where he started and managed a portfolio of classified cyber programs.  Earlier in his career, Evan worked at ALPHATECH and then BAE Systems, developing capabilities for integrated ISR, cyber and electronic warfare.  Evan went to MIT for both his B.S. in Physics and his Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering.   He has published 25+ articles in journals such as Science, Physical Review Letters and The Journal of Chemical Physics.
