Dr. Richard H. ‘Doc’ Klodnicki is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AERETI, Inc. Doc has almost 40 years of experience as a leader in operations and technical program management in both the federal and commercial technology and defense markets. Doc is a retired Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retiring after 20 years of service in 2005. While on active duty, Doc held a variety of command and staff assignments in Space and Missile Operations for the US Air Force. Doc also led operational tests for major acquisition programs valued at over $24 billion in space, cyberspace, information technology, information assurance, cybersecurity, missile operations, missile warning & defense, and launch services programs.
Prior to his role as CEO of AERETI, Doc served as an Executive Vice President, Chief Growth Officer (CGO), Program Director, Program Manager, and Chief Scientist in various Government contracting companies ranging from small, economically disadvantaged companies to major large corporations. Doc is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). His leadership focus is on results-oriented teamwork and developing people. Dr. Klodnicki received his PhD from the University of Denver, earning the Dissertation of the Year Award. He also holds a Master of Science from Lesley University and a Bachelor of Science from the USAF Academy. Doc published and presented papers on operational testing; Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR); and interoperability to the International Test and Evaluation Association, the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International, and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics
Dr. Klodnicki is a member of the Board of Directors for the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). Doc was also President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the NDIA, recipient of both the Model Chapter and Chapter of Excellence awards and received the NDIA Gold Medal for his leadership. Doc also serves as the Vice President of the NDIA Space Division, Rocky Mountain Region. Doc was an initial member of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification-Accreditation Body (CMMC-AB) Board of Directors. Doc served on other panels and boards to include Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), International Test & Evaluation Association (ITEA), Military Affairs Council (MAC) for the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce, and the USAF Academy Associates of Graduates.
