Work experience
Pieter-Henk Schroor has gained professional skills and expertise in the field of multilateral and bilateral diplomacy, policy advice and coordination, team management, political analysis, scientific research and education.

2018 – Present Defense Cooperation Attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Washington DC, United States of America.
Chairman of the Defense MOU Attachés Group (DMAG), a group of defense (cooperation) attachés and defense officials from 25 nations that have Reciprocal Defense Procurement (RDP) Memoranda of Understanding or equivalent agreements with the U.S.

2017 – 2018 Strategic Policy Advisor to the political leadership of the Netherlands Ministry of Defense (MoD) on defense acquisition and military procurement.

2013 – 2017 Deputy Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the United Nations Organizations in Vienna (mainly IAEA, CTBTO and UNODC).
