Tim Barrick is currently an independent consultant with Order of Battle Solutions LLC focused on consulting work related to wargaming, wargame design, wargame facilitation, future warfare, and national security strategy. He is also the Wargaming Director for the Brute Krulak Center for Innovation and Future Warfare at Marine Corps University. He is the lead designer of the Marine Corps’ Operational Wargame System. Tim retired as a colonel in 2021 from the Marine Corps after 29 years of service. His last tour on active duty was as Director for the Wargaming Division in the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab. He also served as the commanding officer of the Marine Corps Tactics & Operations Group. He is a graduate of the Marine Corps War College, the Naval War College, American Military University, and the U.S. Naval Academy.
