Mr. Gonzalez has over 34 years of experience in weapon systems development and acquisition for the Department of Defense (DoD). As a member of the DoD’s Senior Executive Service, he oversaw major defense acquisition programs for the Office of the Secretary of Defense valued at over $70 billion annually. Mr. Gonzalez holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Mr. Gonzalez was appointed by the Governor of the State of Maryland to serve on the College of Southern Maryland Board of Trustees.
