Bio

Bryan is the Director of Government BD and Regulatory Compliance for the Jamaica Bearings Company, where he has been since 2001. The Jamaica Bearings Company is a 3rd Generation Family-Owned Small Business which started in 1925. JBG is the largest supplier of bearings to the U.S. Government worldwide and #50 of the top 100 DLAs Global suppliers. Previously with the Timken Corporation from 1989 to 2000 where he held various positions, including Business Development for the U.S. DoD and Foreign Governments. Current responsibilities are for the U.S. DLA, all branches of the U.S. Military, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of Transportation, Unicor and some Foreign Militaries and Governments.

With 33 years in the defense industry working with the DoD and the DLA, he specializes in understanding the FAR, DFARs and DLADs. He has worked with members in both houses of the U.S. Congress on legislation regarding small businesses and the domestic bearings industry.

Raised in Dover-Foxcroft, ME, he has been in Keene, NH for the last 36 years with his Wife, two boys and pets. While stationed in Groton, CT and Holy Loch, Scotland, he served in the U.S. Nuclear Submarine Service, Atlantic fleet, on the USS Daniel Webster, SSBN 626G. He sits on the Towns Zoning board of Adjustments, Board of Commissioners for the towns Water Department, recent and past Board of Directors and business manager for his Church. He is currently a member of APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society), NDIA (National Defense Industrial Association) - Small Business committee, NDIA – TRIAD committee, NDIA – ARWG committee, SAE bearings committee, ASTM sub-committee chair for F-34 Government logistics.

He enjoys studying the FAR, DFARs, Federal Register and GAO cases as his hobby and watching as black bears and deer come by his home to say hello.
