Appropriate dress for the conference is as follows:

Air Force: Service Uniform
Army: Class B
Coast Guard: Tropical Blue Long
Marine Corps: Class C
Navy: Service Khaki

ID BADGE

During conference registration, each attendee will be issued a conference badge. Please be prepared to present a valid picture I.D. Badges must be worn at all conference functions.

CLASSIFIED SESSION

On Thursday, April 28 (Conference Day 3), the 22nd Annual Science & Engineering Technology Conference will feature a classified session, held at The United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) Conference Center of the Americas (CCA). This session is classified as Secret U.S. Level; you must be a U.S. Citizen holding a secret clearance or higher.

Transportation and Gate Access
Non-CAC card holders must enter through Gate 2 on the provided shuttle bus. Those who do have CAC cards may enter through either Gate 1 or Gate 2. Please see here for reference. 

Complimentary parking is available on the property in non-reserved parking spaces. Alternatively, shuttle services will be provided; please visit the bus schedule page.

Prohibited Items

Attendees will not be allowed to take briefcases, bags, electronic devices, or other personal property into auditoriums excluding woman’s handbags; however, handbags will be inspected upon entry into all sessions. An electronic device is defined to include cell phones, two-way radios, AM/FM radios, personal digital assistants (PDAs) such as tablets, palm pilots, Fitbits, Smart Watches, and blackberries; laptop computers; cameras; video/audio recording equipment, pagers, or any other transmitting device.

HOTEL PARKING* 

Overnight Self-Parking is $10 (West-Side of Hotel) with in and out privileges. 

Daily Self-Parking is $7 per vehicle 

Valet parking is $15 (Hotel Entrance)

HOTEL AIRPORT SHUTTLE 

An airport shuttle service is complimentary with transfers from the hotel to the Miami International Airport, 24 hours/7 days a week leaving the hotel on the hour and 1/2 hour. Call the hotel directly, when you arrive at MIA for pick up: (813) 879-4800. 

Follow signs at curbside to the new zones just beyond the crosswalk. The hotel shuttle bus will pick up/drop off on the Arrivals Level (1) at designated zones outside of baggage claim across from doors 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 15, 20 & 23 (subject to change).
