Ms. Clancy assumed the position of Director, Office of Security and Counterintelligence (OS&CI) in February 2019. The Director OS&CI is responsible for physical, technical, facility, personnel and program security as well as insider threat and counterintelligence for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) worldwide.
Ms. Clancy has extensive experience in a variety of leadership and managerial assignments of increasing responsibility throughout Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), in the Washington Metropolitan Area, at NRO and in the domestic field. She previously served at CIA as the Deputy Chief Talent Management Officer (TMO), within CIA's Talent Center, where she developed and implemented Agency talent management standards, strategies, programs, policies and IT solutions, which provide the foundation for the Agency's performance, personnel, promotion and assignment management, processes and systems.
A 2020 participant of the DCIA Seminar, Ms. Clancy has also served as CIA's representative to the National Intelligence Awards Review Board and as well as a two-year term on CIA's Executive Diversity and Inclusion Council. Her former executive roles include serving as Chief, Programs and Policy Group, TMO; Chief of Staff for the former Corporate HR and TMO, Chief of Office of Security's (OS) Clearance Division, and Chief of Corporate Plans and Resources in OS.
Ms. Clancy holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Hampshire and she has attended multiple executive leadership courses to include the Director's Seminar, the Harvard Kennedy School, the Brookings Institute and the Center for Creative Development. Ms. Clancy is a native of New Hampshire and now resides in Virginia.
