NDIA Defense Workforce Summit

Description

NDIA started Defense Workforce Summit in 2020 to analyze workforce vulnerabilities and bring related policy recommendations to government and industry leaders. Our vision is investing today to produce a robust, ready, and clearable defense workforce for 2040, capable of equipping our nation’s warfighters to face both impending and unforeseen challenges. Each year’s effort will be elevated by an annual Defense Workforce Summit, the first of which will be held March 14, 2022. At the Summit, each of our four working groups (Futures, Skilled Careers, STEM Education Pathways, and Talent Pools) will present, discuss, field questions on, and finalize their annual findings and recommendations. This Summit will also serve as the launch of DWP’s second year, allowing the working groups to refine their scope and examine new recommendations over the course of 2022.
