Meg Kulungowski serves as the Vice President, Government Relations for Navistar Defense, joining the company in 2009. She engages with the Department of Defense, other executive Departments and agencies, and Congress to ensure that Navistar Defense has the greatest opportunity possible to achieve their business goals.

Mrs. Kulungowski previously served as the Director of Congressional Affairs for the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO). She integrated information to assist Congress in understanding JIEDDO operations and requirements to support their $4B budget.

Additionally, Mrs. Kulungowski served as the Senior Legislative Coordinator within the Budget Liaison office, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and Comptroller. Beforehand, Mrs. Kulungowski provided congressional affairs support to PEO Soldier, worked for Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, (R- TX), and served as a Military Intelligence officer for eleven years.

Mrs. Kulungowski earned her Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the United States Military Academy and her Master’s in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
