Description

The POST 2020 team is continually monitoring the current novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak situation. The POST conference is scheduled to occur as published. We are committed to following onsite safety measures and enhanced cleaning guidelines, precautions and procedures recommended by the CDC. There have been no reported cases in Hawaii. The Hawaii Department of Health (HDOH) continues to monitor the situation closely and is actively working to detect cases of COVID-19 as early as possible. Screening is being conducted at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) by federal authorities to identify travelers from countries with restrictions that require quarantine or public health supervision. The POST team is fully prepared to adjust our plans if the situation changes. We are following – and will remain in compliance with – all city, state and federal guidelines. If the direction from federal, state or local official public health authorities does change between now and the conference, we will adhere to that guidance, act upon it immediately, and update everyone.

For more information and updates from NDIA about COVID-19, please refer to the NDIA Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update Page.

Join NDIA and the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command for the 2020 Pacific Operational Science & Technology (POST) Conference as we examine partnership, presence, and military readiness in the S&T community. This conference will feature:

  • DoD opportunities for joint research, development, and experimentation
  • Collaborative engaging workshops
  • Unique networking opportunities for government and industry attendees
  • A full exhibit hall of industry companies*

POST 2020 brings together senior U.S. Department of Defense leaders from the Services and Agencies, senior leaders from the international Science & Technology community, industry executives and engineers, university representatives, and scientists to collaborate on how we can contribute to peace and stability in the Indo-Asia Pacific region through science and technology. For the past 20 years, this conference has served as a leading forum for understanding operational issues in the region and for technology providers to recommend solutions to these challenges.

For the first time ever, the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) has partnered with USINDOPACOM to offer a mobile version of its CCMD Classified Reading Room. Registered POST 2020 Conference attendees** will have the opportunity and convenience to gain valuable insights on the top priorities of the CCMDs by submitting an application to view their classified Integrated Priority Lists (IPLs). To learn more, visit https://go.usa.gov/xdaaJ.

Please note: POST 2020 is open to the press ONLY on Tuesday, March 10, and Wednesday, March 11.
