Mr. Sami Paihonen has been serving as Chief Technology Officer of Savox Communications Ltd (Savox) from April 2019. Before joining Savox Communications, he worked as Senior Advisor at Savox Ventures from June 2018 onwards

 Prior to his tenure with Savox, Mr. Paihonen worked eight years in different roles at Digitalist Group Plc (previously Ixonos Plc). Roles included serving as President and CEO of Digitalist Group, President for Digitalist North America, and leading new Design business unit for company.

Mr. Paihonen has strong experience from design leadership positions also at Nokia and Samsung, between 1998 and 2008. In Nokia, he worked leading new device and service design teams, and at Samsung, he was first foreigner to join Samsung HQ’s Design Center at Seoul, South Korea, as Director.

 In total, Mr. Paihonen has 21 years of experience from various leadership tasks, in big and small corporations, with financial and business responsibility on growing or turning around units and companies. He holds a M.Sc. in Process Engineering and Work Science from the University of Oulu.
