Description
NDIA's Special Operations/Low-Intensity Conflict (SO/LIC) Division is hosting a webinar as part of their Virtual Strategic Series, with a focus on Special Operations: Irregular Warfare and Unified Action. This webinar will include an expert panel of government officials and industry leaders who will discuss the recently released unclassified irregular warfare annex, U.S. SOF alliances, great-power competition, and U.S. SOF's incredible historic, legislative, and policy roots to empower future international partner enablement and interagency collaboration.
The discussion will be moderated by Andrew "Swede" Borene of the NDIA SO/LIC Division Executive Board; he serves as the Division's Industrial Outreach Chair. Panelists include Daniel "Deak" Roh, Principal Director, Special Operations & Combatting Terrorism, Office of the Secretary of Defense (Policy); David Stephenson, Director, Office of Irregular Warfare & Competition, Joint Chiefs of Staff; and Kristen Hajduk, Former Special Assistant to Under Secretary of Defense for Policy.
NDIA has a policy of strict compliance with federal and state antitrust laws. The antitrust laws prohibit competitors from engaging in actions that could result in an unreasonable restraint of trade. Consequently, NDIA members must avoid discussing certain topics when they are together – both at formal association membership, board, committee, and other meetings and in informal contacts with other industry members: prices, fees, rates, profit margins, or other terms or conditions of sale (including allowances, credit terms, and warranties); allocation of markets or customers or division of territories; or refusals to deal with or boycotts of suppliers, customers or other third parties, or topics that may lead participants not to deal with a particular supplier, customer or third party.
