What is the 2020 Virtual Systems and Mission Engineering Conference?
The 2020 Virtual Systems and Mission Engineering Conference is for the systems engineering community to come together to on improving acquisition and performance of defense programs and systems —all from the comfort of their own homes or offices.

How do I register for the 2020 Virtual Systems and Mission Engineering Conference?
Regular registration for this event has ended. However, all sessions (except when not permitted by speaker) are now available in an On Demand format to registered attendees. Attendees may log back into the symposium platform using his or her original personal access link.

What is On Demand?
On Demand will give you access to the releasable presentations and handouts from the 2020 Virtual Systems and Mission Engineering Conference to view at your own convenience. Accessing these presentations from the virtual conference allows you to gain valuable insights from the SME community.

When will I receive the instructions for attending the 2020 Virtual Systems and Mission Engineering Conference?
After you have registered, you will receive an e-mail from ndia_events@ndia.org inviting you to create your profile in the virtual platform. Here you will be able to add items such as a profile photo and contact information. Upon login, you can also start to navigate through the platform. Please note it may take up to 48 hours to process your registration and receive login instructions. Attendees will have until December 13, 2020 to access recorded sessions.

Can my computer or mobile device handle the 2020 Virtual Systems and Mission Engineering Conference?
Most up to date computers and mobile devices such as laptops, desktops, and handheld tablets are capable of running the virtual conference for you. It is recommended that you use Google Chrome, and for government employees to disconnect from their VPN.

What platform will be used for the 2020 Virtual Systems and Mission Engineering Conference?

Does NDIA give out Attendee Lists?
Attendees will receive an attendee list via email within a week of the virtual conference concluding.

What do I need to do to participate in the 2020 Virtual Systems and Mission Engineering Conference?
You will need to login first to the virtual platform lobby. After logging in, scroll down to view the agenda tiles broken out by day and time. To enter a session, simply click on the session tile. 

Do I have access to all the sessions?
In a word, yes! Similar if you were attending the conference in person, you will be given the opportunity to select which sessions you’d like to see on-demand virtually.

Will I be able to see the presenters for each session?
Yes, you will be able to see both the speaker and slides.

Can I share my virtual conference login information with other members of my team?
No
, your login information is unique to your individual registration. For every paid registration to attend virtually, only that registered attendee will be allowed to enter the virtual conference. The questions asked and the chat shown to all attendees within that single login session are all tied to the account of the individual that purchased the virtual event.

Can I access and view recordings of any sessions from the conference?
Your virtual conference registration includes access to all educational session recordings after the event concludes.
