Christopher “Disco” DeMay is the Intelligent Combat Platforms Program Manager in the Precision Strike Mission Area leading applied research and advanced technology development for OSD, USAF, and DARPA programs applying autonomy and manned-unmanned teaming to air combat. Previously, he was a senior defense analyst in the National Securities Analysis Department. Prior to joining APL, he served 21 years in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Aviator comprising multiple operational tours, including command, Joint and Naval Staff, and as an executive assistant. Chris is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School, and holds a M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School and B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.
