Ms. Wehr has over 15 years of experience advising, managing and designing strategic communications campaigns for the Department of Defense (DoD) and private sector. In her current role as the Strategy and Policy lead, persuasive campaigns include garnering stakeholder support and advocacy for DoD cyber solutions on behalf of Parsons Corporation, a technology-focused defense, intelligence, and infrastructure engineering firm. Her portfolio includes a unique body of work while serving in various key positions. Ms. Wehr helped create and served as the Program Manager for DoD’s largest online psychological operations activity. She established whole-of-government partnerships to create mutually beneficial influence campaigns (during Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Freedom Sentinel, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn, Operation Inherent Resolve, and other DoD campaigns). She expanded partner nation capability for strategic influence operations abroad. And fostered inter-agency coordination, especially during her time as a liaison between DoD and the Department of State. Ms. Wehr has been a panel member on the topic of whole-of-government strategic communications and influence campaigns at numerous workshops and conferences. She earned her B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the University of Iowa, a B.F.A. in Interactive Media Design from the Institute of Art in Chicago, and M.A in Media and Strategic Communications from George Washington University.
