What is the 2020 Virtual SO/LIC?
This event, hosted by NDIA’s Special Operations/Low-Intensity Conflict Division, has been newly redesigned to leverage the virtual event experience, maximize the facilitation of important discussions, and bring the special operations and low-intensity conflict community together virtually to keep important conversations going.
How do I register for the 2020 Virtual SO/LIC?
You can register online at NDIA.org/SOLIC.
When is the deadline to register for the 2020 Virtual SO/LIC?
There is not a deadline to register, however registrations received during the week of the conference may take up to 24 hours process and receive login instructions.
How much does it cost to attend virtually?

Can my computer or mobile device handle the 2020 Virtual SO/LIC?
Most up to date computers and mobile devices such as laptops, desktops, and handheld tablets are capable of running the virtual conference for you. It is recommended that you use Google Chrome, and for government employees to disconnect from their VPN.
Does NDIA give out Attendee Lists?
Attendees will receive an attendee list via email within a week of the virtual conference concluding.
Conference Survey
After the event, NDIA will send an overall 2020 Virtual SO/LIC survey to gather feedback on the conference.
Do I have access to all the sessions?
In a word, yes! Similar if you were attending the conference in person, you will be given the opportunity to select which sessions you’d like to attend virtually. It is up to you to decide which sessions interest you and to attend those sessions as desired. You may attend as many or as few sessions as you want.
Will I be able to see the presenters for each session?
Yes, you will be able to see both the speaker and slides.
Can I ask questions during the sessions?
We encourage you to ask questions at any time, additional information will be provided on how to use this question tool closer to the conference.
Can I share my virtual conference login information with other members of my team?
No, your login information is unique to your individual registration. For every paid registration to attend virtually, only that registered attendee will be allowed to enter the virtual conference. The questions asked and the chat shown to all attendees within that single login session are all tied to the account of the individual that purchased the virtual event.
2020 Virtual SO/LIC Cancellations
You may cancel your registration and receive a refund, minus a $25 cancellation processing fee, if submitted in writing by September 25, 2020. If cancellation occurs after the cut-off date, no refund will be offered. Substitutions are welcome and are encouraged. All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing to Jessica Lewton at jlewton@NDIA.org. Refunds will not be given for no shows. Login sharing is strictly prohibited.
