Security Clearances - Important Notice 

ALL attendees must submit security clearances by Wednesday, November 27. For more information on how to submit clearances, please see the Security Clearance webpage.

 

On-site Badging and Identification

Upon arrival, you will need to bring a Government-issued photo ID (i.e. driver's license, CAC, passport, etc.) to show to the building security and NDIA staff in order to be permitted into the facility and to receive your badge.

Attire

Appropriate dress for the symposium is business attire for civilians or uniform of the day for military personnel. 

Getting to RAND Corporation

The following are general directions to the RAND Arlington Office.

Driving Directions
RAND's Washington Office is located just off Interstate 395, near both the Pentagon and National Airport. The building front is located on South Hayes Street in Arlington, to the right of the Ritz Carlton Hotel. The parking garage is located through the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City shopping mall.

Parking
Parking is available in the parking structure of the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City mall and can be entered from either Army Navy Drive or 15th Street. You may park on any level of the mall, but it is recommended that you park on level P1 of the parking facility and at the north end. 

 

Parking Fees:

0 - 2 hrs – $3.00
2 - 3 hrs – $4.00
3 - 4 hrs – $5.00
Full Day – $18.00

 

Metro

RAND is located nearest to the Pentagon City Metro station, served by both the blue and yellow lines.
