At the Heart of the Mission Since 1919
Join representatives from industry, government, and academia to celebrate NDIA's century-long support of the warfighter at our 100th Anniversary Celebration. Over the last 100 years, NDIA and its predecessor organizations have been at the heart of the mission by dedicating their time, expertise, and energy to ensure that our warfighters have the best training, equipment, and support. Now, NDIA is reflecting on its history while keeping a sharp focus on its role in the next 100 years of national security. Throughout the future, we will maintain our steadfast commitment to the warfighter.
The 100th Anniversary Celebration will blend the past and future, highlighting NDIA's major accomplishments while anticipating what game-changing opportunities are to come.

In 1919, Brigadier General Benedict Crowell founded our earliest predecessor organization, the Army Ordnance Association, to address the American warfighter's need for enhanced industrial preparedness. In 2019, NDIA continues BG Crowell's mission of advancing the national imperative of having a responsive defense industrial base. This year, we are celebrating our reputation as America's leading defense industry association promoting national security while solidifying our ongoing and steadfast commitment to the warfighter in all domains.
