Dr. LaPlante is currently Senior Vice President of the Intelligence Portfolio at the National Security Engineering Center for The MITRE Corporation. His former positions include serving as Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Portfolio Director for MITRE Missile Defense, and Department Head for Global Engagement at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
