NDIA Board of Directors Announces New Leadership, Members

(Arlington, VA) The National Defense Industrial Association’s Board of Directors announces the election of the Hon. Lisa S. Disbrow, 25th Under Secretary of the Air Force, as the new Chair of the organization’s board. John Bonsell, SVP for Government Affairs at SAIC, is now Vice Chair.

Chair Disbrow takes the reins from the Hon. Michael Bayer, President and CEO of Dumbarton Strategies, LLC. "It has been an honor to serve as Chair of NDIA, and I am confident that under Hon. Lisa Disbrow’s leadership, the association will continue to thrive and drive meaningful progress. Her vision and commitment to our mission will undoubtedly guide NDIA to even greater heights," said Bayer.

With more than 30 years of military and national security experience, including roles as Acting Secretary of the Air Force and the Secretary of Defense’s Principal DoD Space Advisor, Disbrow brings exceptional leadership to NDIA. "I am deeply honored to step into this role and continue building on the strong foundation Hon. Michael Bayer has laid,” said Disbrow. “Together, we will advance our mission and support the defense industrial base in meeting the challenges of tomorrow."

John Bonsell, NDIA’s new Vice Chair, has decades of experience in defense, government affairs, and national security policy. Currently Senior Vice President for Government Affairs at SAIC, Bonsell has a distinguished history of public service, including roles as Majority Staff Director and Minority Staff Director for the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC).
